Morton stay top despite defeatAirdrie continued their fine form by beating league-leaders Morton 2-1.Bryan Prunty and Nathan Blockley scored in the space of 10 second-half minutes to hand Morton a second successive defeat, although Stranraer's loss sees them remain top of the table on goal difference from Forfar. The hosts, now unbeaten in nine and just four points off the play-offs, rode their luck before Prunty's 56th-minute opener.Goalkeeper Andy McNeil prevented Patrick Boyle from putting through his own net before Stefan McCluskey somehow blazed over from Mark Russell's cross.Airdrie took the lead when Prunty was picked out by Jordan Morton before lobbing Derek Gaston.Liam Lindsay almost made it two as he headed against a post but Blockley made no mistake soon after, driving to the edge of the area before firing past Gaston.Jamie McCluskey scored from six yards in stoppage time but it was too little too late
